VoteReady.com to Sponsor PASS 150 at Lee USA Speedway During Oktoberfest Weekend

October 15, 2026 — Naples, Maine — Officials at the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) are pleased to announce that VoteReady.com will serve as the sponsor of the PASS 150 at New Hampshire’s Lee USA Speedway on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The event is part of the track’s highly anticipated Oktoberfest weekend.

The PASS Super Late Model event is of the headliners on a busy weekend of racing action. Furthermore, VoteReady.com will be partners in four other races throughout Oktoberfest. It is also sponsoring the season-ending New England Supermodified Series (NESS) race and the penultimate PASS MODS feature on Saturday, as well as the 350 Supermodified and 604 Thompson Modified tilts as a part of the card on Sunday, October 18.

VoteReady.com promotes an important message that extends beyond the racetrack: “Make a Plan to Vote.” The organization encourages Americans to take a few minutes to understand when, where, and how they will cast their ballots, emphasizing that a plan to vote is the first step toward making a difference. Its message, “A plan to vote is a vote that counts,” highlights the importance of preparation and participation in the democratic process. Through its sponsorship of racing at Lee USA Speedway, VoteReady.com will bring this timely message to the racing community, encouraging fans and competitors alike to make their voices heard.

Coming into Oktoberfest weekend, D.J. Shaw has a shrinking lead over Gabe Brown in the championship standings with Trevor Sanborn, Jimmy Renfrew Jr., Joey Doiron, and Cole Robie waiting in the wings if either of those drivers faulter.  With only one weekend of racing left after Lee, the VoteReady.com PASS 150 promises to play a major part in the season-long quest for the 2026 PASS North title.

The Saturday schedule at Lee USA Speedway will include the VoteReady.com 50 championship NESS race and the VoteReady.com PASS Mods 50 as a part of an action-packed day. Jeffrey Battle leads the way with NESS while Jacoby Maines is locked into a heated battle with Bill Penfold and Spencer Morse for supremacy.  Saturday also features a 50-lap Tri-City Lining Street Stock/Limited Challenge, title events for the local Ridge Runners and MLM Diagnostic Services Crown Vics, the Pro-4 Modifieds, and the Senior Tour Auto Racers (STAR) Vintage Late Models and Modifieds.

The excitement continues Sunday, October 18, with the 350 Supermodifieds participating in the VoteReady.com 50 and the 604 Thompson Modifieds taking center stage with their own VoteReady.com 50. Both divisions add their own unique brand of open-wheel competition to the weekend. This comes on top of the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour 150, ACT Twin State Flying Tiger Series, NEMA Midgets, NEMA Lites, Pro Truck Challenge, and GoMotorsportsShop.com NELCAR Legends rounding out a packed Oktoberfest Sunday schedule.

VoteReady.com’s involvement reinforces a message that is especially important as Election Day approaches: making a plan ahead of time can make all the difference. Knowing registration requirements, polling locations, voting hours, and available voting options can help voters prepare and participate with confidence. Fans are encouraged to visit VoteReady.com to learn more about creating a voting plan and taking the necessary steps to ensure their voices are heard.

With the VoteReady.com PASS 150 headlining Saturday’s action, four additional division appearances across the weekend, and 17 total divisions in action, Oktoberfest weekend at Lee USA Speedway is shaping up to deliver an exciting finish to the racing season, while also remembering VoteReady.com’s simple but powerful message: Make a Plan to Vote — because a plan to vote is a vote that counts.

54th Annual Oxford 250 Set for August 20-22, 2027

October 13, 2026 — Oxford, Maine — Officials at Oxford Plains Speedway (OPS) and the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) announced today that the dates for the 54th Annual Oxford 250 weekend have been set for August 20, 21, and 22, 2027. The three-day racing spectacular will once again bring together the best Super Late Model competitors from across New England and beyond, all chasing one of the most coveted trophies in short track auto racing at the historic facility.

“We are thrilled to set the date for the 54th running of the Oxford 250,” said PASS and OPS President Tom Mayberry. “There is a tremendous amount of planning by the organizations, race teams, and fans that goes into an event of this magnitude, so we wanted to get the date out there so that process can begin.”

First held in 1974, the Oxford 250 has become a late-summer tradition that attracts thousands of race fans and creates memories that last a lifetime.  With the speedway capable of welcoming crowds of up to 14,000 spectators, the Oxford 250 weekend combines on-track competition with the tradition, camping, and fan interaction that have made the event a bucket-list destination for short track racing fans for more than five decades.

The 54th running will also carry the momentum of a 2026 event that saw Saturday night regular Brandon Barker etch his name into Oxford 250 history. Barker's victory showed once again that anyone who has the proper preparation, determination, and a little bit of luck can win one of the nation’s biggest short track races.

A major part of what makes the Oxford 250 unique is its qualifying format. Starting positions for the heat races are determined by a random draw on the frontstretch, putting established teams and local racers on equal footing when the weekend begins. Twenty lap heat races, consolation rounds, and a last chance race set the 42-car starting field. The format places a premium on passing, race craft, and determination, often giving local underdogs an opportunity to earn a starting position alongside some of the biggest names in racing.

“Each year, we want the Oxford 250 to be as good or better than the year before.  As good as the racing has been the last four or five years, we think the 2027 version will be even better,” said Mayberry.

Beyond the racing itself, the Oxford 250 weekend has grown into one of the largest sporting spectacles in Maine.  The massive three-day festival draws fans from all over the Northeast and beyond, creating an electric atmosphere throughout the Oxford Plains Speedway grounds.

On August 20-22, 2027, drivers will arrive at Oxford Plains Speedway with the same goal that competitors have chased since 1974: survive the qualifying gauntlet, conquer 250 laps, and have their name permanently etched into the history books alongside such greats as Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Ralph Nason, Bubba Pollard, Jeff Taylor, Mike Rowe, Dave Dion, and more as the winner of one of the most prestigious short-track races in America.  The 54th Annual Oxford 250 promises to again deliver speed, strategy, drama, and the unpredictable racing that has made the event a longstanding tradition.

Battle Sets New NESS Season Win Mark at Thompson Speedway

October 12, 2026 — Thompson, CT — Jeffrey Battle continued making New England Supermodified Series (NESS) history at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway this past Saturday, October 10. The Dunstable, Massachusetts driver took the lead on a lap 10 restart and rolled to his seventh NESS victory of the 2026 season.

The win broke Battle’s own record of six set in 2025. The triumph was also Battle’s second of the weekend after taking the NESS victory the night before.

Former champion Dan Bowes started on the pole for the 40-lap feature and led the first eight laps. Derek Griffth and Battle were on his tail, and a great race-long fight seemed to be shaping up.

However, in turn three on the ninth circuit, Bowes’s machine suddenly got squirrely and didn’t stop. Griffth got past to lead lap nine, then Bowes spun the next time through turn three. A flat right rear tire and cracked wheel were the culprits that ended his day early.

Battle got the jump on Griffth when the race restarted and tried to motor away from there. Griffith found himself under constant attack from Matt Swanson, the previous Saturday’s winner. The two chased each other and Battle through lapped traffic around the 5/8-mile oval, with Griffith holding on for lap after lap despite damage to his top wing.

Although Battle had a couple of close calls in traffic, he was up to the challenge and walked to the win by 2.486 seconds. Combined with his heat race victory, Battle put a hammerlock on the point lead. He now only needs to start the season finale at Lee USA Speedway to clinch his second straight NESS championship.

Swanson finally snuck past Griffith on the final lap to take second, continuing his impressive late-season charge. Griffith rounded out the podium, followed by P.J. Stergios in fourth. Despite missing his heat race with a bad shifter cable, Russ Wood charged from the final row to finish fifth, the last car on the lead lap in the 12-car field.

The New England Supermodified Series concludes its 2026 campaign with Oktoberfest at Lee USA Speedway on Saturday, October 17. Along with the 50-lap NESS feature, the action-packed Saturday card includes the PASS North Super Late Models, Kennebec Equipment Rental PASS Modifieds, Tri-City Lining Street Stock/Limited Challenge, Pro-4 Modifieds, Ridge Runners, MLM Diagnostic Services Crown Vics, and Senior Tour Auto Racers. PASS 400 Weekend Announces Schedule Adjustments

October 8, 2026 — Naples, Maine — Officials at Oxford Plains Speedway and the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) have announced several schedule adjustments for the upcoming Spencer Group Paving PASS 400 Weekend. Most notably, the Super Late Model portion will now be condensed into a one-day show on Sunday, October 25, with optional practice sessions scheduled for Saturday, October 24.

The highly anticipated three-segment PASS 400 format will remain unchanged, featuring 100-lap, 100-lap, and 200-lap segments. In addition, officials have distributed purse money throughout the field, ensuring that all drivers who start each of the three segments receive a guaranteed $2,000 payday.

The stakes will remain high as all three segments will be considered official PASS races and therefore count toward the PASS North Championship.  With Lee USA Speedway this coming weekend, and the three points-paying races at Oxford as a part of Spencer Group Paving PASS 400 Weekend, the yearly title is still very much up for grabs.  The format gives teams multiple opportunities to earn substantial money throughout the day, with each segment paying $2,000 to win and the overall winner getting a cool $10,000 while keeping the battle for the overall championship wide open.

With the Super Late Model program condensed into one action-packed day, Sunday’s schedule will get underway with heat races at noon, with feature racing scheduled to begin by 1:00 p.m.

Joining the Sunday card will be the popular ACT Flying Tiger division with a pair of their own Monza-style 35 lap features.  Rounding out the Sunday show is the Street Stock/Limited Challenge Honey Badger Bar & Grill 100, which will be a pair of 50-lap races.

As part of the schedule adjustment, the Kennebec Equipment Rental PASS Mods will now move to a Saturday-only format, joining the Green Lawn Solutions Mad Bombers as featured events on that day. The GoMotorsportsShop.com NELCAR Legends, Crown Vics, 207 Flight School Runnin' Rebels, and Wicked Good Vintage Racing Association are also in action as a part of a jam-packed Saturday format.

With big money on the line, three PASS points-paying races, a championship to decide, and a strong undercard, PASS 400 Weekend is shaping up to be one of the biggest events of the season at Oxford Plains Speedway.

The PASS 400 Weekend is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25. The updated schedule of events, pricing, and other information is available at www.oxfordplains.com and www.proallstarsseries.com.
