D.J. Shaw has been declared the winner of the Spencer Group Paving PASS 400 following technical inspection from Sunday's event at Oxford Plains Speedway.
Austin Teras was initially the winner of the three-segment event, collecting $75,000 by virtue of accumulating the lowest combined score in the race and winning two of its three segments. Teras crossed the finish line first in both the first and third segments of the event.
However, Pro All Stars Series officials announced on Tuesday that Teras has been disqualified from all segments and the overall finish of the event. D.J. Shaw has been declared the overall winner of the event, as well as the winner of the final segment of the race.
"Following technical inspection of the engine in the 29 of Austin Teras, it was found the heads on the motor had been machined well past what is allowed for that engine option," reads the series' statement. "Pro All Stars Series officials have disqualified the 29 car of Teras from all segments and the overall finish of the event. This results in D.J. Shaw being the overall winner of the event as well as the winner of the third segment. Sylas Ripley now becomes the winner of the first segment as well."
Shaw also won the 2025 PASS North championship, holding off Johnny Clark in a hard-fought championship battle down to the final race. With each of the three segments in the PASS 400 paying championship points, Shaw's overall victory in the event secures his seventh PASS North title.
Shaw finished one point ahead of Ben Rowe in the overall standings for the event, with the lowest combined score across the three segments determining the overall winner. Alexendre Tardif is now credited with third place in the overall event rundown.
In August, Teras won the 52nd Annual Oxford 250, the crown jewel event on Oxford Plains Speedway's annual calendar.
Sylas Ripley is now the winner of the first segment of the race. Derek Griffith remains the winner of segment two, while Shaw is credited with the third segment win.
