Johnny Clark Claims his
6th PASS North Title |
Oxford, ME (10/15) -
Scott Mulkern roared from the back
of a 34 car field to claim the lead
and the win in Saturday's Pro All
Stars Series (PASS) North 150 at
Oxford (ME) Plains Speedway. Travis
Benjamin led much of the way but had
to settle for the runner up spot,
and DJ Shaw raced home third in the
PASS North season finale, cut short
at lap 118 due to rain.
Joey
Pole and Brian Hoar led the field to
the green and Pole jumped out front
early. Hoar took over from laps 29
through 70 but Benjamin was rumbling
up through the field and he wrestled
the lead away from Hoar on lap 70.

Clark Claims His Third
PASS 300 at
Beech Ridge |
Three wins in a row,
seventh of 2011 for the defending
series champion |
SCARBOROUGH ME (9/18) Johnny
Clark reclaimed the lead on lap 220
of Sunday's PASS North 300 presented
by Southern Maine Motors.com at
Beech Ridge Motor Speedway to earn
his seventh win of 2011 and his
third in the Pro All Stars Series
(PASS)North's richest race. Scott
Mulkern charged up through the pack
to claim second and home track hero
Trevor Sandborn raced home third.
Clark started deep in the pack
but by lap 98 he was knocking on
leader Donnie Whitten's door.Two
laps later he was in control. Clark
lost the lead to Lonnie Sommerville
for several laps but the five time
PASS North champ reclaimed the point
and kept it until lap 191 when
Seekonk regular Tom Scully Jr. took
over. Clark's rubber was worn out,
but he got the break he needed when
the yellow flew on lap 216..
Rubbered up and race ready, Clark
took the lead from Brad Babb ten
laps later and was never headed,
leading the final seventy four laps
despite the best efforts of both
Mulkern and Sanborn.

Clark Claims PASS North
White Mountain Win |
North Woodstock NH (9/11)
Johnny Clark kicked in the jets with
50 laps to go in Sunday afternoons
Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North
150 at White Mountain Motorsports
Park, winning a side by side battle
with DJ Shaw to take the lead on lap
131 and nip Shaw for his sixth PASS
North win of 2011. Shaw led the
majority of the 150 green flag laps
but had to settle for second. PASS
rookie Bryan Kruczek led his share
of laps and raced home a strong
third, with Alex Gingras and Lonnie
Sommerville rounding out the top
five.
For ten seasons Clark
and his Clark's Car Crushing team
couldn't find the key to PASS
victory lane at White Mountain, but
he 's now won 2 of his last three
starts at the fast quarter mile. His
victory coupled with points
challenger Ben Rowe's seventeenth
place finish padded the defending
series champions' point lead. Rowe
was caught up in an early race wreck
that took the nose off RMR ride,
destroying any chance of a win at
one of his favorite speedways..

Ben Rowe Scores PASS
North Firecracker 150 Win |
First PASS North checker
of 2011 for the four time PASS North
Champion |
Canaan NH (7/3) Ben Rowe
reclaimed the lead from Richie
Dearborn on lap 116 of Saturday
night's Pro All Stars Series (PASS)
North Firecracker 150 at Canaan Fair
Speedway and raced on for his first
PASS North win of the season. Alex
Gingras and Scott Dragon both earned
career best finishes, crossing under
the checkers in second and third.
Richie Dearborn and Rowe led the
field to the first green flag and it
was Dearborn jumping out front early
but a red flag at lap seven for Jon
Dickerman's slow roll on the back
stretch put the action on hold
briefly. Dearborn resumed control
until Lonnie Sommerville charged by
on the outside. Dearborn reclaimed
the lead after a lap fifteen caution
and kept the point until Rowe reeled
him in and drove by for the lead at
lap 28. |

Johnny Clark Rolls On, Claims
Third PASS North Win of 2011
at L'Autodrome Chaudiere |
Mother Nature loses one
to the racers in the Habitations
Dany Lagace 150 |
Naples ME (6/27) Defending
Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North
Champion Johnny Clark earned his
third super late model win of the
young PASS North season Sunday in
the PASS Habitations Dany Lagace 150
at L'Autodrome Chaudiere . Ben Rowe
and Patrick Laperle chased Clark to
the stripe.
PASS North's
first trip to Quebec since 2004 was
marred by rain. A bleak forecast
delayed the event until Sunday, then
it was a battle between mother
nature, the tenacious Chaudiere
track crew and PASS officials to get
and keep a raceable track surface.
In the end their efforts paid off
and the hardy Quebec fans were
treated to the kind of racing only
super late models can provide.

Johnny Clark
PASS North Winner
at Speedway
660 on 6/11 |
Johnny Clark took command on
lap 102 of Saturday night's PASS 200
and kept Ben Rowe in his mirrors the
rest of the way to earn a hard
fought victory at New Brunswick
Canada's Speedway 660. Mike Rowe,
Jonathan Hicken and Travis Benjamin
completed the top five.
Clark
is the first driver to score a
second victory in the first ten PASS
sanctioned super late model races of
2011, and its his second PASS 200
score in a row.
Clark may
have controlled the second half of
the race but his first 100 laps
weren't easy. His power steering
went away twenty five laps in and he
struggled to the half way break, but
once his steering was restored and
his chassis fine tuned the five time
PASS North champ took control.
